This is where i occasioanlly waffle about stuff, but mostly its for collating all of the livejournals of much more interesting people, some of whom i would not know still existed were it not for this evil time drain.

Me, i am a married financial planner, currently building my business in central wellington with a very cool firm. I am also studying for my Certificate in Financial Planning through Waikato, which should see me getting an actual qualification (my bar managers license does so not count) in late 2007, ironically i will have a post grad diploma, despite having bailed on undergrad stuff a while back.

Still wargaming after 15 odd years and focusing on repealing peoples negative impressions of me over the ages (which to be fair were probably spot on at the time, such a dumbass when younger, anyone who says they met me last week and still think i am a dumbass gets a crack:) ) by being a lot mellower in my older, and rounder life.

Dreams and aspirations, well we are just about out of the awful pile of debt left over from uni and the first couple of years of us both being self employed, so the plan for the coming future is to secure the assets we have, save for a house, and builds towards owning a business i can not be around for 30 weeks of the year but still earn good money from, its a 5 year thing at least, but the expereince and knowledge i am gaining where i work makes it more of a chance of getting what we want than anything else i have done. so the plans are for travel (back to europe for me, and for the first time for Rachel), property, and wealth creation for a mellow retirement, whenever that is.

So what do i actually do?

In my prime market I;

Give graduates who want to build their wealth cash control and certainty, so they can buy the toys they want with cash, not live in debt, and have a steady path to the things they want financially, be it a house, travel or whatever.

I also help people with odd situations (credit issues, self employment etc) use property to their best advantage, and sometimes just help normal people buy a house :)
